Tag it

Hi crafters,
There's a great new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this week, our lovely Lorraine has chosen 'Tag it'.  A nice easy one, just add a tag to your creation!
We are kindly sponsored by Cowling & Wilcox this week and they are offering the lucky winner a 12 pack of promarkers (steam punk).
                                                        Cowling & Wilcox
My card for this challenge is a Birthday card for my Dad and he's always enjoyed a bit of DIY so this image was perfect for him.  It's a digi from Ella's Design which is on the Boys 2 Men CD.
I coloured the image with my promarkers to match his Black and Decker tools (other brands are available!) and used some papers that I got on Saturday (thanks Clare!).  I cut out a tag shape and embossed the top to add some texture.  I inked the edges with a 'Stormy Sky' Distress Ink.  I added some craft candy in matching colours as well as a saw charm that I've been saving for ages for one of Dad's cards.  (I wonder if he would mind me asking for it back sometime lol!!).
I also added some glossy accents to the image but my photography skills fail me I'm afraid!
So why not join in with this week's challenge.  Just make sure you use your Winsor and Newton (formerly Letraset) products and of course, follow the theme.  I look forward to seeing your creations as always.
Hugs, Karen xx

Add a Charm

Hi crafters,
Another week flies by and it's time for a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers!  This week, Kitty is in the hot seat and she has chosen the lovely theme - 'Add a Charm'.
We are kindly sponsored by All Dressed Up this week and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digis from their online store.
                                                No automatic alt text available.
Their images are absolutely gorgeous and I've used one of them on my card this week and it's called 'Fairy Magic'.  She was a dream to colour in and I used my trusted promarkers as always!

The papers are by Anna Marie designs called 'Blissful Cocoa' and they are my favourite papers at the moment!  I've used an MS border punch on one of the papers and the flowers are from WOC,
I added a banner and a punched butterfly and of course, some pearls here and there!  Oh and some glitter!  The sentiment is by LOTV and my little charm was attached with some string!

So, why not join in with this week's challenge - it's really easy.  You can enter using any type of creation and to be eligible for the prize draw, don't forget to use your Winsor & Newton products and of course, follow the theme!
Thanks for dropping by and I look forward to seeing your creations!

Hugs,

Flower Power

Hi crafters,
It's my turn in the hot seat this week  at Passion for Promarkers and my challenge is called 'Flower Power' - a nice easy one! You can use an image with flowers or add flowers as your embellishments, it's entirely up to you!
We are kindly sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps this week and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 4 digi images from their online store.

                                                       Bugaboo
We were lucky enough to have an image to play with and this one is called 'Flower Water Cans - Tulip Can'.
I've coloured the image with my promarkers and I really enjoyed colouring these flowers.  I was also lucky enough to have some papers that were a perfect match.   It was an anniversary card for my brother and sister-in-law so I added some heart die cuts and my heart MS punch!  I raided my stash for some WOC flowers and added a row of pearls along the bottom of the card.

Please join in with my challenge this week at Passion for Promarkers.  As always, to be eligible for the prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and of course, follow the theme,
Thanks for dropping by and I look forward to seeing your lovely creations.
Hugs, Karen xx

Add a button or 2!

Hi crafters,
This week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers has been chosen by the lovely Jacky and the theme is 'Add a button or 2!'  A nice and easy challenge - I think I add a button onto most of my cards!!
We are very kindly sponsored by Digistamp Boutique this week and they are offering a £10.00 voucher for the lucky winner to spend in their online store!  All their digis are amazing. and you'll be spoilt for choice!
                                                   DSB
I've used one of their gorgeous images on my card this week from the 'Edwin and Hetty' set and it was a lovely one to colour in.  As my card was for a new baby boy I decided to colour my little elephant in blue!!
I used an MS punch on the card base - not done this for ages and I'd forgotten how effective it is!  I added the little boy's name to personalise the card and added some corner and heart dies as well!    A little bit of glitter, some pearls and a couple of buttons (of course) finished off the card.  I hope they liked it anyway,
Why not join in with this fab challenge - remember you can enter using any type of creation.  Just make sure you use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and follow the theme!
I look forward to seeing your creations!
Thanks for dropping by and good luck!
Hugs,
Karen xx

Challenge 386 - Add lace, ribbon or twine

Hi crafters,,

There's a great new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and the theme has been chosen by the lovely Elaine and she wants you to add lace, ribbon or twine to your creations!
We are very kindly sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps who are offering the lucky winner a $12.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

                                                        Di's Digi Stamps

My card has been made for a friend's Mum on her 70th Birthday.  She is a very keen sewer so I thought this image by Ella's Design was perfect for her.
I've coloured the sewing machine with my promarkers and added pearls and glitter to the design!  I even got MY sewing machine out and stitched a lot of the layers for the card! I added some diecut cotton reels and wrapped them with threads in matching colours.  Some buttons, pins and a tape measure added to the sewing theme and I even added a little wooden sewing machine as well!

Some lace (of course) and a few WOC flowers were also added and the sentiment is welsh for Happy Birthday!  I hope she likes all my sewing embellies anyway!
Please join in with this nice and easy challenge - don't forget to use your promarkers and follow the theme,
I look forward to seeing your lovely creations.
Hugs, Karen xx

Challenge 384

Hi crafters,
There's a great new challenge at Passion for Promarkers today and our lovely Donna has chosen a fab theme  'In the pink',  We are very kindly sponsored by Bugaboo this week and they are offering the lucky winner 4 digi images from their online store.  It'll be hard to choose them though as all their images are gorgeous!

Bugaboo

I've used one of their lovely images on my card this week entitled 'Happy Birthday to Ewe'.

I decided to have a pink sheep, of course and added lots of glitter!!  I used my promarkers and added a little bit of chalk for the pink cheeks!  My fence die came out again as it seemed fitting to use with the sheep and I added some extra flowers here and there.  After my last 'Clean and simple' card I threw everything on this one - flowers, a banner, pearls and more glitter!!  I think this style is more me but I'm determined to try some more CAS cards - it's good to challenge yourself sometimes and come out of your comfort zone!

So why not join in with this nice and easy challenge.  You can enter any type of creation, it doesn't have to be a card,  Just remember to use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and of course, follow the theme,  Please also state which Letraset products you've used.

Thanks for dropping by and I look forward to seeing your creations!
Hugs,
Karen xx
